Govt decides to promote five DIGs to AIG

KATHMANDU, March 20: The government has decided to promote five Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Nepal Police to the post of Additional Inspectors General (AIGs). A cabinet meeting held on Monday approved the promotion committee's recommendation.

KATHMANDU, March 20: The government has decided to promote five Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Nepal Police to the post of Additional Inspectors General (AIGs). A cabinet meeting held on Monday approved the promotion committee's recommendation.  



On March 10, a home secretary-led promotion committee recommended the promotion of five DIGs to AIG.

As per the recommendation, DIGs Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, Tekprasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyamalal Gyawali and Kiran Bajracharya have been promoted to AIG.
