KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has allocated NPR 109 billion for social security allowances in the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26. Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel announced this during his budget speech on Thursday.

“An integrated reporting system for social security services will be developed,” said Minister Paudel in his speech. “I have allocated NPR 109 billion for all types of social security allowances.”
