Government transfers two AIGs

KATHMANDU, May 7: The government has transferred two additional inspector generals of police.

KATHMANDU, May 7: The government has transferred two additional inspector generals of police.  


A recent cabinet meeting took a decision to this effect upon the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, according to the Nepal Police Headquaters.

AIG Pushkar Karki, who was previously working at the Crime Investigation Department of Nepal Police Headquarters, has now become the chief of the Nepal Police Academy.


Likewise, AIG Dhiru Basnet, who was the chief of Nepal Police Academy, has been tansferred to the Crime Investigation Department of Nepal Police Headquarters. Basnet will be on deputation at the National Security Council.
