KATHMANDU, Dec 22: The local market has seen a continuous surge in gold and silver prices. Gold, which was Rs 258,300 per tola on Sunday, rose to Rs 261,400 per tola on Monday, marking a Rs 3,400 increase in a single day, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Similarly, silver prices also increased. Silver is now trading at Rs 4,235 per tola, up Rs 130 from Rs 4,105 per tola on Sunday.
