KATHMANDU, Jan 6: Gold and silver prices increased in the domestic market on Tuesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose sharply by Rs 3,100 per tola in a single day, settling at Rs 268,100 per tola.
On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 265,000 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 195 per tola and is currently being traded at Rs 4,880 per tola, the federation said.
On Monday, silver was traded at Rs 4,685 per tola.
