Gold, silver prices decline in Nepali market

The price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 299,800 per tola for Friday, down from Rs 302,800 per tola on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, April 17: Gold prices in the Nepali market have fallen on Friday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmark gold dropped by Rs 3,000 per tola.



The price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 299,800 per tola for Friday, down from Rs 302,800 per tola on Thursday.

Silver prices have also declined. The silver, which was traded at Rs 5,250 per tola on Thursday, fell by Rs 120 to Rs 5,130 per tola on Friday, the FENEGOSIDA said.
