KATHMANDU, Dec 8: Gold prices edged higher in the local market today. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association reported gold trading at Rs 252,900 per tola on Monday, up from Rs 252,200 on Sunday.

Meanwhile, silver saw a slight decline, dropping from Rs 3,605 per tola on Sunday to Rs 3,585 today.
