Gold price rises slightly

KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 500 per tola on Monday, reaching Rs 243,300. On Sunday, it stood at Rs 242,800 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).

Similarly, silver rose by Rs 20 per tola, reaching Rs 3,155, up from Rs 3,135 per tola on Sunday.


FENEGOSIDA attributed the rise to the influence of international markets and local demand.
