Gold price records all-time high, rises by Rs 2,600 per tola

KATHMANDU, March 21: The price of gold has surged to an all-time high. The price of gold, which was at its highest price on March 10, broke the record on Thursday.


On March 10, gold price reached its peak at Rs 126,000 per tola. Breaking the record, the price of gold has set a new record on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 2,600 per tola to become Rs 127,800 per tola on Thursday. On Wednesday, the price stood at Rs 125,200 per tola. 


Likewise, the price of standard gold has also seen a surge, reaching Rs 127,200 per tola on Thursday, up from Rs 124,600 per tola on the previous day.


Furthermore, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 35 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,555 per tola today. It was sold at Rs 1,520 per tola yesterday.
