Gold price drops by Rs 1,000 per tola

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: The price of gold has dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Nov 25: The price of gold has dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola (11.66 grams) in the domestic market on Wednesday.



Gold price has seen a slight improvement in the global market after positive news of COVID-19 vaccine has been surfacing. As a result, the price has also dropped in the domestic market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the yellow metal was traded for Rs 91,500 per tola on Wednesday. The price of fine gold stood at Rs 92,500 per tola on Tuesday.

Similarly, Standard gold price is being traded for Rs 91,000 per tola on Wednesday whereas it was traded for Rs 92,000 per tola the day before.


The price of silver stood at Rs 1,175 per tola, Rs 5 less than the amount it was priced on Tuesday. Silver was traded for Rs 1,180 per tola on Tuesday. The price of gold had recently crossed Rs 100,000 per tola.
