Eight-year-old Manisha Sapkota was killed when the gun went off while her brother Ramnath was shifting the gun from one place to other place. She was shot in the head and her body has been taken to Pokhara for postmortem, the police said.
The gun belonged to Mahendra Shahi. It was stored in a goat cage of Khadak Sapkota.
Police have detained Ramnath and Mahendra for investigation.
