VDC Secretary Baburam Dhungana said Manika Panchkoti, 20, killed herself consuming poison on Friday night after she was declared fail in the exam.
It is said that Panchkoti, a student at Saraswati High School, who failed in mathematics, wrote suicide note before committing suicide.
Police said the dead body has been taken to the District Hospital for postmortem.
