DHANGADHI, July 10: Vice Chairman of the CPN (UML) Bamdev Gautam has warned that the country would turn into a failed state if the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls are not held on the scheduled date of November 19.

Stating that the CPN-Maoist´s demand for the dissolution of the Khil Raj Regmi-led government is futile, he said their demands including the quashing of the 11 point agreement and 25 point agreement on removing constitutional difficulties is not acceptable to his party. Gautam also said that his party is ready for the CA polls. “Our party cadres have already reached the constituencies and it is likely our party will win with majority seats.”[break]
