Gang vandalizes Guthi Sansthan office

JANAKPURDHAM, June 27: A group of 10-12 youths vandalized the office of Guthi Sansthan in Janakpur when a meeting of the Sansthan management committee was underway to mull ways for systematic management of temples in Janakpur.



The committee was mulling over controlling encroachment of temple areas, controlling the misuse of the resources of the temples as well as managing the temples through trusts.



Chairman of the committee Manoj Kumar Sah said the youths who attacked them were mobilized by the Mahantha. The youths also disconnected the telephone line when the committee members tried to call the police for security.
