FWEAN elects new Working Committe

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The 18th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) held on Thursday elected a new Working Committee led by Niru Raimajhi Khatri. The 18th General Assembly and the eighth convention held in Kathmandu on Thursday elected a 27-member working committee led by Khatri.

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The 18th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) held on Thursday elected a new Working Committee led by Niru Raimajhi Khatri. The 18th General Assembly and the eighth convention held in Kathmandu on Thursday elected a 27-member working committee led by Khatri.


Shobha Gyawali has been elected as the first vice-chairperson of the new working committee while Darshana Shrestha is the second vice president. Similarly, Sunita Vaidya Shrestha has been elected as the third vice president and Basanti Pradhan as the fourth vice president.

Similarly, Laxmi Shrestha has been elected as General Secretary, Sabita Subedi as Secretary and Kunnam Pokharel as Treasurer. According to the FWEAN, Nita Pyakurel, Shraddha Joshi, Deepa Thapaliya, Sarita Tuladhar, Sumitra Palanchoke, Soni Joshi and Hima Bista have been elected as executive members of the body. Likewise, Kriti Upadhyay (Province 1), Dev Kumari Poudel (Province 2), Arpana Bhandari Pradhan (Bagmati Province), Parvati Poudel (Gandaki Province), Saraswati Sharma (Lumbini Province), Kavita Thapa (Karnali Province) and Meena Fulara (Far Western Province) have been elected as executive members of the provinces.


Similarly, Aarti Nepal and Malika Shrestha have been elected as the invited executive members while Pratibha Pandey and Dikila Lama have been elected as the nominated members of the body.
