KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association (NFFA) is organizing the 4th Furnex Nepal-2016 at the Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall from December 2 to 6.
The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) are supporting the event.
According to NFFA, the main objective of the expo is to promote locally made furniture products, distribute furniture products made in foreign countries to local customers, and to provide information about furnishing materials.
Similarly, an interior design competition is being organized on the sidelines of the event to promote interior designing sector, according to the organizers.
Furnex Nepal 2016 will showcase furniture used in both offices and home. The exhibition will showcase products from countries like Jordan, India and Pakistan, among others
The five-day event will have 67 stalls including 37 stalls featuring locally produced furniture and furnishing products.
The organizers are expecting more than 100,000 visitors.
