KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association (NFFA) is organizing the 5th Furniture and Furnishing Expo (FURNEX) at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu, from August 19 through 23.
Issuing a statement, the NFFA said that all 66 stalls for the expo have been already booked. Furniture and furnishing products for home and office will be on display at the exhibition.
Furniture worth Rs 18b imported annually
The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) have also extended support for the event, the NFFA has said.
The organizers have said that they expect nearly 100,000 visitors in the exhibition. According to the NFFA, the main objectives of the expo are to promote locally-made furniture products, make foreign furniture products available to local customers, and provide information about furnishing material.
