The expo drew more than 90,000 visitors and recorded transactions worth Rs 200 million, according to the organizers. Surendra Prasad Sharada, senior vice-president of Federation of Furniture and Furnishing Entrepreneurs, said they would continue to organize expos like this in the coming years as well.
Similarly, Binod K Nayak, manager of Craft House -- one of the participating companies, said his company recorded transactions worth Rs 800,000 during the five-day event. The expo expo was organized by Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association.
