The event will also feature local bands and cultural as well as modern dances, according to a press release issued on Monday.
Subash Lama, coordinator of the event, said through the press release that they have been organizing free concerts for the past three years to create festive mood ahead of Tihar – the festival of lights.
“We are expecting a crowd of around 30,000. We’ve already completed necessary arrangements,” he said. The concert will kick off at 2 pm.
Lama further added that the group was trying to rope in more artistes and bands for the event.
Established in 2006, Jorpati Yuva Sarokar Samuha has also been conducting different social activities in Jorpati and surrounding areas.
