KATHMANDU, Aug 5: France on Friday congratulated CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal on being elected as the Prime Minister of Nepal.
Issuing a statement today, French government congratulated newly elected Prime Minister Dahal and expressed hope that his leadership will take the bilateral relationship between Nepal and France to a new height.

“France hopes that the bilateral relationship between Nepal and France will further strengthen during the tenure of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal,” reads the statement.
Meanwhile, France also expressed commitment to assist Nepal in its reconstruction works and economic development.
