KOHALPUR, NOV 8: A new four-star hotel has started operation in Ganapur of Banke.
The Hotel Whitehouse Residency, which was established with an investment of Rs 600 million, has facilities like swimming pool, gymnasium, water park, spacious garden, fishing point, massage parlor, salon and beauty parlor, among others. The gym has the capacity to serve 100 people at a time. Similarly, it has facilities like sauna and Jacuzzi, among others.
According to the promoters, work of first phase has already been completed while the second phase works are undergoing. The hotel caters to children, youth, senior citizens of moth middle and high class.
Bharat Bilas Parajuli, manager of the hotel, said that the hotel will have a total of 90 rooms, three seminar halls having capacity to seat as much as 500 people once work of the remaining phases are completed.
The hotel is spread over five bigha of land.
According to Parajuli, visitors can enjoy grill fish themselves at the fishing point. The hotel also has a mini garden where
Krishna Basyal, the promoter of the hotel said, Rs 166 million has been spent in the first phase. Work of remaining two phases will take total investment to Rs 600 million, he added.
The hotel will employ 300 people once all construction work is completed, said Basyal.
The hotel aims to serve typical Nepali food to its clients. According to Parajuli, food items like chicken pickle, different cuisines made of mountain goat meat, yak ghee, and bananas will be served at the hotel. Similarly, visitors can taste organic spirits brewed locally.
Parajuli told Republica that the hotel will help to promote tourism in mid and far western region.
