Four killed in road accident

DOTI, Nov 11: Four persons were killed on Thursday evening after a taxi fell 600 meters down the road at Chhatiban village-9, Rubaskada of Doti.



The dead have been identified as taxi driver Janak Kunwar, 35, assistant driver Arjun Kunwar, 20, Dewsara Saud, 30, and Sangita Nepali, 19. [break]



While Janak and Kunwar were from Chaumala-8 of Kailali, Duesara and Sangita were residents of Shreepur village of Kailali.



According to Dan Bahadur Kunwar, elder brother of Janak, the Dhangadhi-bound taxi (Se. 1 ja 341) was returning from Ugratara fair in Dadeldhura district.



Police are clueless about how the taxi skidded off the road.



Although police searched for more dead bodies for hours, only four dead bodies were found. The accident site is 138 kilometers from Dipayal, the district headquarters of Doti.
