Four injured in car accident including UML leader Sherpa airlifted to Kathmandu

SINDHULI, July 8: Former minister and leader of CPN-UML Kripasur Sherpa’s private car met with an accident in Sindhuli.

SINDHULI, July 8: Former minister and leader of CPN-UML Kripasur Sherpa’s private car met with an accident in Sindhuli.


According to the police, the car he was traveling in (Ba 2 Cha 9003) got out of control due to high speed in Kamalamai Municipality-14, Chandanpur on Friday.

General Secretary of Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) Pemba Gurung, Devraj Rai and Ganesh Thapa were among those traveling in the car with Sherpa to attend the extended meeting of NEFIN Province 1 Chapter. The condition of the three injured persons is critical, according to the District Police Office, Sindhuli.


All the four injured in the accident have been airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment, police said.
