Four hydropower projects get generation licenses

KATHMANDU: The Department of Electricity Development (DoED) has issued generation licenses to four hydropower projects -- Kabeli B-1(25 MW), Upper Khoranga Khola (6.8 MW), Upper Solu Khola (18 MW) and Hewa Khola (9.5 MW). [break]



These projects have combined installed capacity of 59.3 MW. With these new projects, the number of hydropower projects with generation licenses has reached 69. They have combined installed capacity of 1,975 MW, according to DoED.
