Family sources stated that Singh’s body will be kept at the Nepali Congress (NC) headquarters in Sanepa from 10 AM to allow people to pay their final respects. His last rites will be performed at Tankeshwari at around 1 PM.
A confidante to “Iron Man” Ganeshman Singh, PL Singh played a significant role in Nepali politics during his active years. However, he became disillusioned with the politics of Nepali Congress (NC) and gradually withdrew from public life.
In recent years, Singh had been residing with Ganeshman Singh's son, Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, at his residence in Chaksibari, where he passed away earlier today.
Singh’s contributions as both a public servant and a political figure remain a significant part of Kathmandu’s history.
