KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Former mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, PL Singh, passed away this morning at his residence. Singh’s body was kept at Chaksibari, where leaders, dignitaries, and the public gathered to pay their last respects.
Prominent figures, including Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah and senior leaders of major political parties, were seen offering tributes to the late leader.

In honor of Singh’s contributions, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City announced a day of mourning today. All offices under the metropolitan city, except for essential services, remained closed.
