KATHMANDU, Jan 2: Footwear Business Expo-2017, which kicked off at Bhrikuti Mandap on Thursday, has attracted a sizable number of visitors, the organizers said Sunday.
The expo, inaugurated by Minister for Health Gagan Kumar Thapa on Thursday, has been organized by Nepal Shoe House.

“The expo features casual shoes, sports shoes, boots, school shoes and ladies’ and gents’ sandals,” it said, adding that it believed expositions like these helped promote Nepali shoe brands and encouraged people to use Nepali brands.
The organizers say they are expecting more than 200,000 visitors and hope to sell around 50,000 pairs of shoes.
