At an interaction organized jointly by the FNJ Lalitpur Chapter, and Minimum Remuneration Fixation Committee, FNJ central chairman Shiva Gaunle said various programmes would be organized throughout the year in order to enhance the capacity of journalists.[break]
Once the journalists became competent, it would be easy to press the FNJ to implement Working Journalists Act.
The media house must ensure the implementation of Working Journalists´ Act, he demanded.
Other journalists speaking at the programme demanded investigation why the owners of the media house exercise every right but deprive journalists of minimum remuneration.
