KATHMANDU, July 5: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is holding a peaceful assembly against the proposed Media Council Bill on Friday afternoon.
As part of its third phase of agitation against the media bill, the FNJ will hold the assembly at FNJ headquarters, Media Village in Kathmandu at 1 pm today.
The media fraternity has been holding a series of protest programs against the proposed media bill arguing that it will curtail press freedom if it is endorsed from the Parliament.
