The FNCCI urged Nepal Electricity Authority to refrain from cutting off power supply to industries, requesting the restoration of power to those that have already faced disconnection until the issue is sorted out.
According to the FNCCI, several industries may face closure, causing adverse impact on employment and revenue collection if the matter is not addressed promptly. The umbrella organization of businessmen and industrialists across the country has expressed confidence that the government will prioritize the concerns of the private sector, particularly amid the existing economic crisis, and take proactive measures to address the issues.
