DHANGADHI, Sept 14: Flooding in the Mohana River has swept away two buildings of the Armed Police Force (APF) in Dhangadhi.


The police have reported that the flooding in the Mohana River, caused by rain on Friday night, swept away two of the three new buildings of the APF's Border Out Post (BOP) in Lalitpur, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-19.

According to the police, the flood swept away one two-room building and another building that had one hall and one room.


On Friday afternoon, after the erosion of the BOP buildings began, the items inside were moved to a different location.


According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Kabindra Bohara from the District Police Office, Kailali, the buildings were completely swept away by the flood in the Mohana River on Friday night and Saturday morning. After the BOP buildings were destroyed, the BOP was relocated to a community building.


According to him, the new buildings were swept away by the flood, and the old buildings are also at risk.
