KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Flood Forecasting Division (FFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned of flash floods in some places including the Kathmandu Valley on Saturday night.
“Massive clouds have been formed in the sky above Makwanpur, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Dang, Banke, Ilam, Sunsari, Morang, Dhankuta districts including the Valley and are moving fast toward west signalling chances of heavy rain in the evening,” FFD has tweeted.

People living near the banks of the rivulets and streams, hence, have been advised to take safety measures tonight.
Similarly, Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said chances of heavy rainfall are high at one or two places of the eastern and central regions.
