BAGLUNG, August 21: The Jomsom-Korala road is currently obstructed due to flooding.
The road, part of the national pride project known as the Kaligandaki corridor, has been disrupted at Tanbe in Barangung Mukti Rural Municipality, Mustang district, according to Chief District Officer of Mustang, Anup KC.

The movement of vehicles between Jomsom-Korala and Upper Mustang-Jomsom-Pokhara-Kathmandu has come to a standstill due to the road obstruction.
The road blockage has primarily impacted domestic and foreign tourists returning to Upper Mustang, according to local residents. Efforts are underway to clear and restore the road by this evening, informed CDO KC.
