Ram Ekwal Giri, 21, alias Binod Giri, a resident of Biratnagar, jailed in Birgunj for murder and rape was rearrested on Sunday night, said DSP Sanjiv Sharma.
He was at large after giving the slip to the police on April 6.
He was arrested from Biratnagar-5, Kanchanwadi.
