KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Five parliamentary committees under the House of Representatives and National Assembly are scheduled to meet today, Monday.
The International Relations and Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives will hold its 16th meeting at 11 am at Singha Durbar. It will discuss the Tourism Bill, 2081, with stakeholders, including the Nepal Mountaineering Association.

The Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee will meet at 9:30 am to discuss a technical report prepared by a technical task force formed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forests and Environment on human wildlife conflict management. The concerned minister, secretary and coordinator of the National Trust for Nature Conservation’s technical task force have been invited.
The Infrastructure Development Committee will hold its 11th meeting at 10 am at Singha Durbar. The meeting will focus on infrastructure development and public-private partnerships. Representatives from the Investment Board’s Office, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Nepalese Industries and Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry have been invited.
In the National Assembly, the Legislation Management Committee will meet at 1 pm at Singha Durbar to hold a principle-level discussion on the Infectious Animal Diseases Control Bill, 2083. The Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment, along with secretaries from the ministry and the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, have been invited.
The Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will hold its 344th meeting at 2 pm. It will discuss pastureland policy with subject expert Dhan Prasad Lamichhane.
