Five Nepalis rescued from Thailand

The Nepali Embassy in Thailand has rescued five Nepalis, four men and a woman, from Myawaddy of Myanmar.

KATHMANDU, Dec 25: The Nepali Embassy in Thailand has rescued five Nepalis, four men and a woman, from Myawaddy of Myanmar. 


The men were returned to Nepal a week ago with the help of Thailand's government agency, IOM, and the non-governmental organizations. The woman, on the other hand, was sent to Nepal on Tuesday. Nepali Embassy in Thailand shared this information.

The Embassy has appealed to all Nepali citizens to follow the government procedure and standard and bear a labour permit rather than run after the lure of manpower agencies that falsely assure jobs in Cambodia, Laos and Thailand.
