DAILEKH, Aug 22: Women of Bhairabi Rural Municipality in Dailekh rescued a pregnant woman who was suffering from labor in the street. The women were able to take her to a maternity ward of a nearby health post just in time for delivery.

CHITWAN, Nov 10: A one-horned rhino which was rescued from Balmiki Tiger Reserve in India, and brought to the Chitwan National Park (CNP) on Thursday, has been released into the CNP today. The female rhino of about 15 years of age, which was swept away from the CNP in a flooding four months ago, was spotted at the Reserve, around 20 kilometers east from the Nepal-India border, some days earlier.
KAPILVASTU, Nov 7: Police arrested Krishna Prasad Regmi of Rajapur-1, Bardiya and rescued two girls from being trafficked. The girls, residents of Dailekh, were being trafficked to Kuwait via India, were rescued from Indo-Nepal check point today. A case on human trafficking has been filed against Regmi, Subash Gaire, police inspector at the Area Police Office, Krishnanagar said.

CHITWAN, August 24: Four more rhinoceros have been rescued by Chitwan National Park (CNP) officials after they were swept to India during the floods on August 11. Chitwan National Park Office reported that three rhinoceros were seen first in the Indian side of the border but one more rhino was seen during their thorough rescue operation.
