ARGHAKHANCHI, Dec 10: Five people were injured in a car accident near the bridge in Shita Ganga Municipality-2 the Gorusinge-Sandhikharka road section on Saturday. They were injured when the car (Ga 3 Cha 1579) experienced brake failure and it fell off the road while on its way after visiting the Supa Deurali temple.

According to the police, the condition of three of the injured is serious. Inspector Krishna Ghimire at the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, said that they all belong to the same family from Tanahun Ambukhareni.

The injured have been identified as 55-year-old Lakshmi Tripathi, 51-year-old Anshu Tripathi, 28-year-old Shishir Tripathi, 25-year-old Prakriti Tripathi and 32-year-old driver Sisan Tripathi of Ambukhareni.

After being treated at the primary health center in Thada, the injured have been sent to Butwal for further treatment.
