Five Indians held in Tanahun

DAMAULI, June 28: Locals in Bandipur and Yampaphant in Tanahun seized five Indian nationals on the charge of trying to steal children and handed them over to the police on Saturday.



The arrested are Rachit Kumar Shetty (28), Ashok Yadav (32), Surendra Kumar Pande (32), Chandra Shekhar Varma (32) and Ramesh Kumar (40).



The locals arrested them while they were taking photographs of the daughter of Nirmala Bhattarai of Yampaphant.



Police said they were investigating the case. The arrested cannot speak or understand Nepali.
