KATHMANDU, July 17: Police have arrested five people on the charge of selling kidneys of street children.
Those arrested are Dhan Bahadur Roka of Ramechhap, Vijay Kunwar of Gulmi, Dhupendra Shahi and Bimal Bahadur Shahi of Dailekh and Ashish Tamang of Jhapa.
The police allege that they sold kidneys of street children of Kathmandu by luring them.
According to the police, they are being investigated for action under the Human Trafficking and Transportation Act 2064.
