KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The first look of Nepali movie ‘Summer Love’ was launched recently. A poster of the film features various well known faces of K-Town including Suraj Singh Thakuri, Namrata Sapkota, Ashish Piya and Rewati Chhetri. The story of the film is based on Subin Bhattarai’s famous novel by the same name. Ashish and Rewati are debuting in this movie. Ashish was into modeling before this, whereas Rewati is the winner of ‘Miss International India’. Rewati has featured in Bollywood movies including ‘Gangs of Northwest’, ‘Khatun’ and ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’. 

The movie is directed by Muskan Dhakal, who is known for directing hits like ‘Nai Nabhannu La-3’. Dhakal said, “We worked hard to meet the craze of the novel. Now we are ready to meet the expectation of  the audience.” Renowned Nepali script writer, Samipya Raj Timalsina has portrayed Bhattrai’s novel into a script.  Likewise, dialogues of the film are written by Timalsina and Bhattarai. 

Khagendra Shrestha and Indu Bhandari are the producers of the film. The film is being made under the banner of Nightingale Entertainment. As mentioned in the press statement, the film is set to be released on February 8 targeting the Valentine’s Day.
