According to the police, the house of Kul Kumar Basnet was completely damaged in the fire.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chandra Dev Rai said that jewelries worth Rs 1.35 million, foodstuff and Rs 150,000 in cash also gutted in the fire. Police personnel from the Kagel Airport and local residents brought the fire under control at around 7:00 pm on Sunday.
It is said that the fire broke out from the kitchen of the house. Basnet is a teacher at Jiban Jyoti Higher Secondary in Kagel. RSS
