The fire broken out from the house of Kanhai Seth Saha at 4 a.m. gradually engulfed 51 houses belonging to 18 households in the community. Almost all things in the houses were destroyed in the fire.
The fire was taken under control in four hours with the joint effort of police and locals, and fire engine from Lahan Municipality.
