A fire erupted in a concrete house in Dumre Bazar, Bandipur Municipality-1, Tanahun.

TANAHUN, Jan 22: A fire erupted in a concrete house in Dumre Bazar, Bandipur Municipality-1, Tanahun.


Deputy Superintendent of Police Ashok Thapa from the District Police Office, Tanahun, said the fire started on the fifth floor of local Keshab Adhikari's house at around 11:40 am on Wednesday.

After receiving the information, 36 police officers from the Area Police Offices in Abu Khaireni and Bhanu, along with locals, rushed to control the fire.


By 12:20 pm, they had brought the fire under control, Thapa confirmed. The fire completely destroyed about 50 sacks of rice, old timber, windows, doors, and a tin roof.


Authorities are conducting further investigations into the incident.
