Financial aid for late Bomjan's family

KATHMANDU, May 6: Two separate sports organizations led by Lok Bahadur Shahi had announced relief of Rs 10,000 per family of sports journalist Suman Bomjan who was killed in the devastating April 25 earthquake that has already killed over 7,000 people.

Nepal Ice Hockey Association and Sports For All Club, Nepal, made such announcement on Wednesday through separate press statements. Bomjan's body was recovered a week after the earthquake under the rubble of his residence in Mahabauddha, Kathamndu.


According to the statement, the amount will be handed over to Bomjan's family via Nepal Sports Journalist Forum, the umbrella organization of sports journalists.
