Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office bans digging roads from June 16 to mid-September

KATHMANDU, June 8: The Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office has issued a notice stating that road excavation will be prohibited starting from June 16 until mid-September.

KATHMANDU, June 8: The Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office has issued a notice stating that road excavation will be prohibited starting from June 16 until mid-September.


The office has instructed not to dig the road during the rainy season for the purposes of water, sewerage, electricity and telephone as it cannot be repaired immediately and the road condition will deteriorate further.

The notice has warned that strict action will be taken as per the Public Roads Act, 1974 (2031 BS) if anyone is found digging the road against the public notice.
