KATHMANDU, April 15: Chairman of Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF) Upendra Yadav said that unification in the 30-party alliance was still possible if UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal could mend his ways.

Speaking at Reporters' Club on Wednesday, Yadav said that the fate of 30-party alliance solely lies with Dahal. "The unification in 30-party alliance is possible if he (Dahal) can fix his the decision to call off protest programs," Yadav said.He accused that differences in alliance was due to Dahal as he could not pick one between alliance and state power. "He can't put his legs in two boats. He has to either opt for protests or consensus."

Yadav also accused Dahal of showing dual characters on differences over five districts. "He is uncertain on five districts as he has been bating for referendum or integrated into Terai region at the same time."

Referring that alliance with Dahal was in different context, the chairman warned of forming a separate alliance among Madhesi and janajatis if he (Dahal) utilized them for his benefits.
