Family members gathered at the Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital on Monday and said they want money for the families of the five villagers who were killed when helicopter crashed May 12 while delivering aid in northeastern mountains.
Nepal's army confirmed only last week that the helicopter was also carrying the five local villagers in addition to the six U.S. marines and two Nepalese soldiers who were killed in the crash.The U.S. relief mission was first deployed after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake hit Nepal on April 25. A magnitude-7.3 quake struck on May 12 and hours later the helicopter crashed.
