The exhibition showcases a collection of photos from various participants of The Image Park’s various workshops ranging from professional stock photography to basic photography. [break]
The exhibition will showcase works of 12 workshop participants from different walks of life, who pursue photography as a hobby.
“We don’t have professional photographers, we have people who work in different facets of the society brought together by the sole passion for photography,” says Jigmi Lama, 32, one the of exhibitors, adding, “we want people to feel motivated and the exposure that these photographers get from these exhibition will definitely spark that motivation to drive them forward.”
This exhibition is The Image Park’s first installment of a six part series which are to follow this year. Each exhibition, scheduled to be conducted every 2 months, will follow a different theme, the current theme being un-posed candid photos of people involved in their daily lives.
The inauguration of the exhibition will be held on Saturday and will continue till June 20 from 10 AM to 5 PM at Galleria CUC, Maharajgung.
