POKHARA, Jan 3: All ongoing bachelor´s level first year exams have been postponed at Pokhara´s Prithvi Narayan Campus, the country´s biggest campus in terms of student enrollment, following a dispute between UML-affiliated All Nepal National Free Students Union and the Maoist-affiliated All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary).
The scheduled exams were postponed as the campus was unable to diffuse tensions caused by clashes between the students of the two unions two weeks ago. This has affected about 12,000 students of 13 campuses participating in the exams.
